2016 ESTATE PINOT NOIR
A beautiful growing season and our first vintage in the new winery combine to produce this stunner of a Pinot! Dry summer and fall with abundant sunshine produced wonderfully ripe clusters, hand picked at night, and hand sorted before and after the destemmer with a long, slow maceration produce this seductive wine.
Vibrant fresh black cherry notes with an earthy full mid-pallet lead to a long expressive finish. This is a true expression of Alba terroir and our passion for producing Pinot Noir. Drink now through 2035.
2014 grand reserve pinot noir
Pinot Noir is very particular about where it is planted – it loves limestone soils and cool climates…. something we have in abundance. Our unique terroir melds the elegance, high acidity, and longevity of Burgundy with the big fruit flavors of California and Oregon.
The Grand Reserve was harvested from our steepest sloping hillside vineyards, handpicked at night to capture peak maturity, and fermented in small bins to maintain big fruit flavors and aged in the finest French oak for thirty months.
This evolutionary wine is a thrilling expression of age worthy Pinot Noir. Bold, rich, and assertive with lively acidity and uncommon depth and purity of big fruit giving way to a long weighted finish that endures with unrivaled finesse and persistence.
A truly compelling wine that is carefully hand-selected from our finest barrels and only produced when the vintage is appropriate.

2016 grand reserve Barbera
Our estate Barbera was a viticultural experiment at Alba Vineyard, only produced in exceptional years, this big bodied grape tested the limits of our growing conditions.
Grown at the top of our property on the highest elevation, which pushes for more sun exposure and earlier ripening. Handpicked at night in late October and fermented in small open top barrels to maintain big fruit flavors and meld tannins. Aged in the finest french oak barrels for 30 months, resulted in a wine of incredible fruit finesse thats integrated with acid and soft silky tannin structure.
Like the Legacy of Alba itself. this wine will continue to evolve and develop richer character for years to come.

2014 HERITAGE CABERNET FRANC
Harvested in October at the end of a warm, dry autumn, the estate-grown Cabernet Franc was picked at optimum quality. Concentrated fruit combined with 30 months in the finest French oak barrels, the 2014 Heritage is velvety and suave, with alluring dark fruit and mocha, well built and richly structured. The tannins are big but ripe and balanced on a long expressive finish. Enjoy with robust sauces or grilled meats in the company of good friends!
2018 CHELSEA DRY ROSÉ
SUMMER IN A BOTTLE!
Crafted from our estate grown Chambourcin and Cabernet Franc grapes, hand harvested in October 2018. Planted at 2,300 vines per acre, and cluster thinned back to 3 tons per acre to concentrate the true flavor potential of this unique varietal. The only processing of the cold fruit was a soft whole cluster press to retain the aromatic fruit character.
A long, slow, cool fermentation preceded Sur-Lie aging for 6 months in small stainless steel tanks which resulted in a deep pink color and bold fruit flavors of fresh strawberry and ripe watermelon. Rounded and rich on the palette with great minerality on a long lingering finish.
2017 ESTATE RESERVE CHARDONNAY
Dijon clones planted in high density on a southern facing hillside enriched with natural limestone, along with a near perfect ripening season, all combine to make our 2017 Estate Chardonnay a wine of extended depth and texture.
Hand harvested at optimal ripeness at the beginning of September. Whole cluster pressed, fermented and aged sur lies in 100% Francois Freres, 85% new, 15% one year used French oak barrels. In late autumn, the wine completed malolactic fermentation to help soften the finish and broaden the palate with additional layers of complexities.
Our 2017 Estate Chardonnay is truly a vineyard driven wine. Beautifully crafted with Burgundian techniques rendering a creamy, multifaceted wine with layers of fig, pear, and melon ~ supported by ample acidity. Pure and minerality mid-pallet with a powerful finish that offers a finely textured toasty oak and silkiness.
2017 Wedding rock chardonnay
Perched on a plateau surrounded by limestone boulders with beautiful vistas of the Musconetcong gorge; nicknamed “Wedding Rock” for this romantic setting. Its Dijon Clones planted in 2004 at 2,400 vines per acre atop thin clay soils with limestone rock structure, receives the longest sun exposure. Hand harvested at night to retain the beautiful mineral structure combined with natural yeast fermentation in the finest French oak barrels has produced a true single vineyard Chardonnay that deserves to stand on its own.

2016 grand reserve chardonnay
As farmers, we pride ourselves in crafting vineyard driven wines from our unique vineyard estate. Over the last 21 years of being stewards of the land, we wanted to exemplify the true possibilities of our microclimate and the painstaking commitment to sustainable farming.
Across the 93-acre estate each vineyard block results in different characteristic of soils, rock structure, sun exposure, steepness of hillsides, elevation, and temperature. Selecting only a few rows of our oldest Dijon clone chardonnay vines, which we believe to have the right combination of terroir, we crafted a wine that represents the true individual expression of the Alba estate at its finest.
A gentle whole cluster press with wild yeast fermentation in the finest French oak barrels, where it remained for 16 months, with another 6 months of bottle aging. Resulting in a voluptuous and creamy wine, with densely packed flavors of ripe peach and fresh mango. Firm minerality lingers on an elegantly long and rich finish.

2017 DRY RIESLING
Riesling is one of the world’s greatest wine grapes. When properly grown and vinified it can have great intensity, a wide range of flavors, wonderfully rich and complex bouquet, and will age longer than almost any other white wine and longer than many reds.
Grown in our steepest hillside vineyard blocks with thin soils and limestone rock help to create our signature minerality. Whole cluster pressed and cold fermentation for six weeks.
Our estate 2017 Dry Riesling features bursts of ripe peach and bright citrus flavors, balanced with fine minerality and beautifully integrated with tremendous concentration on a long, refreshing finish. 410 cases produced
This wine is delicious now, but will continue to develop and age for 4 to 6 years. It is especially suited to pair with many “Pacific Rim” seafood dishes, grilled seafood, dishes that are slightly salty, such as those with olives or capers, or with many salads. It also goes well with a variety of cheeses and is especially refreshing in hot weather.
The near perfect ripening season in the fall of 2018, with warm, sunny days and cool nights was ideal for developing one of the nicest Riesling crops we’ve harvested at Alba.
Fermentation was slow and cold to retain all of the rich, ripe fruit character. The finished wine, while slightly sweet, is well balanced due to the high acidity of the grapes and exhibits enticing floral and peach aromas, with great mineral notes, truly capture this easy drinking vineyard driven wine; all leading to a long refreshing finish. Our 2018 Riesling is a classic example of what this versatile grape has to offer.
Alba Riesling goes especially well with cheese and fruit, seafood, or simply for enjoying with good friends.
2018 Pinot gris
Our 2018 Estate Pinot Gris is a true expression of our passion for vineyard driven wines. This is our second vintage of a classic old world grape. Exhibiting fresh citrus and mango notes layered with minerality and bright acidity on a long refreshing finish. Enjoy with appetizers, grilled seafood, and good friends.
Our winemaker’s goal in creating Mainsail White was to make a wine that is suited to everyday consumption: easy to drink, light but flavorful, dry but with a soft finish. When asked how to describe it, we often say that it is like an aromatic Pinot Grigio. Our vineyard estate cuvee is blended from Chardonnay, Riesling, and Traminette, to enhance the aroma. The wine is fermented cool, at around 55 or 58 degrees, which brings out the fruity flavors, and is then matured in stainless steel tanks so that it retains its fresh character. Around the winery, we call it the “Wednesday Night White” because it seems to go with just about any dish and fits the mid-week dinner budget.
“Not just another pretty wine!” A delicious depth of berry flavor accented by hints of peach and grapefruit and finished with a soft touch of sweetness. Alba Rosa goes well with a variety of foods. Enjoy with light meats, fruit dishes and salads, or simply sipped chilled with someone special.
OLD MILL RED
Produced in a style for everyday enjoyment, our Old Mill Red is a medium-bodied wine packed with cherry and dried fruit character that finishes soft and velvety. Made from a cellar blend of estate grown fruit, Chambourcin, Pinot Noir and a little Cab Franc, hand harvested in mid-October. After pressing, the Old Mill Red blend is aged in French oak barrels for up to one year. Old Mill Red is perfect with pizza, pasta, grilled foods, or any other full-flavored dishes.
2013 vintage port
Our 2013 Vintage Port is crafted from estate grown Chambourcin grapes that were hand harvested in October 2013. We make our port in the old world style by crushing the grapes in open top fermenters and inoculate with classic French yeast so fermentation can proceed until the correct balance of alcohol and sugar is obtained. Pot-stilled brandy is added to halt the fermentation process, leaving just the right amount of natural sweetness.
Aging for 48 months, in small French oak barrels, has melded the rich, lush cherry character of the ripe fruit with the warming touch of the pot-stilled brandy. It is a delicious, unique wine that will develop and age for many years. This Port bursts with a warm, jammy texture and finishes with a hint of sweetness. Enjoy after dinner with a selection of fine chocolates or robust cheeses.
This is a wine that is truly unique. It is produced entirely from whole red raspberries, fermented on the skins for twenty days to maximize the fresh berry character. The wine is finished sweet, with a slight tart edge to provide a rich berry experience without a cloying, syrupy finish. As a result, it is one of the few wines that can marry well with chocolate desserts. It is delicious mixed with Champagne, as in a “Kir Royale,” or simply served in a small glass as one would serve port or sherry. Our winemaker made this wine for the first time in 1983, and it has since received numerous regional, national, and international awards, most recently scoring a gold medal in the World Wine Competition and a double-gold medal in the Tasters’ Guild International Competition (2006).
