Located in the rolling hills of the Musconetcong Valley in western New Jersey, Alba provides a distinctive alternative to traditional banquet halls or restaurant event spaces. Guests are welcomed into a working vineyard where the setting, food, and wines come together to create a truly memorable experience.

For all catered events, Alba Vineyard partners exclusively with Eques Hospitality to provide food and culinary service. Their team works closely with us to design menus that complement Alba’s wines and the vineyard setting. Outside caterers are not permitted.

In addition to weekend celebrations, Alba Vineyard is available during the week for corporate events, team building experiences, and company outings, offering a unique alternative to traditional meeting venues.

Types of Private Events

Pavilion Gatherings
The Pavilion is the most common setting for private events at Alba and is ideal for birthdays, anniversaries, rehearsal dinners, corporate outings, and casual celebrations within the vineyard setting.

Reverie Kitchen Private Dining
Reverie Kitchen can provide à la carte service for private groups of up to 24 guests during kitchen operating hours.

Catered Private Events
For events of 25 guests or more, catering is provided through Eques Hospitality, offering full-service menus designed for larger gatherings.

Corporate Events & Team Building
Alba Vineyard is available during the week for corporate gatherings, company retreats, and team building day trips. Many companies choose the vineyard for leadership retreats, client events, and employee appreciation gatherings.

Vineyard Field Events & Weddings
Alba hosts a limited number of vineyard field weddings, with a maximum of six per year, helping preserve the character of the vineyard and ensure a truly special setting for each event.

Field events offer expansive views of the vines and surrounding countryside, creating a naturally beautiful backdrop for ceremonies and celebrations.

Weather & Event Planning

All events at Alba Vineyard are held rain or shine. Covered seating areas under the vineyard arbor provide protection from weather, while the Auxiliary Arbor offers indoor backup space if needed. For vineyard field events and weddings, event rental companies may install larger tents with sidewalls for additional coverage if desired. Field events remain outdoor celebrations.

What types of events can be hosted at Alba Vineyard?
Alba hosts a variety of private events including vineyard weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate gatherings, team building events, birthday celebrations, anniversaries, and private wine-focused experiences. Many guests choose Alba specifically for outdoor vineyard celebrations that feel more personal and unique than traditional restaurant or banquet venues.

Do you allow outside caterers?
No. All catered events must be provided through Eques Hospitality, Alba Vineyard’s exclusive catering partner.

Can smaller groups host private events?
Yes. Smaller gatherings often take place in the Pavilion, which is ideal for birthdays, corporate outings, and private celebrations. Groups of up to 24 guests may also utilize Reverie Kitchen’s à la carte service during kitchen operating hours.

What is the minimum size for a catered event?
Full-service catered events require a minimum of 25 guests and are provided through Eques Hospitality.

Can we host corporate events during the week?
Yes. Alba Vineyard is available Monday through Friday for corporate retreats, team building experiences, and company gatherings. Many companies choose the vineyard setting as a refreshing alternative to traditional meeting rooms or restaurant event spaces.

What happens if the weather changes?
All events are held rain or shine. Covered spaces under the vineyard arbor are available, and the Auxiliary Arbor provides indoor backup space if necessary. For larger field events, rental companies may install tents with walls for additional protection.

Are children allowed at private events?
Alba Vineyard is a 21+ property, so children are not permitted in our main public areas, including events held in the Pavilion or Auxiliary Arbor.

However, for large private Field events that are fully separate from public winery areas, children are allowed.

When must events end?
All music must conclude by 9:00 PM, and the winery closes at 10:00 PM.

How far in advance should we book?
Due to limited availability, particularly for vineyard weddings, we recommend reaching out well in advance to discuss available dates. Field weddings are limited to six per year.
