Only 1.5 hours from New York & Philadelphia

Two miles to the east of the Delaware River and historic Bucks County, PA, the Musconetcong Valley is cradled in the rolling, wooded hills of western New Jersey. Just one of the many villages that dot the landscape, Finesville is an easy drive from several major highways, and less than two hours from both New York and Philadelphia. Being so close to metropolitan areas, our little valley is perfect for brief but relaxing getaways. With plenty of fine dining and cozy lodging nearby, it is easy to see why, along with Bucks County, the Musconetcong Valley area has been a favorite weekend destination for many years!

Find Your Route

From the New York metropolitan area, and points East:

Take Route 78 West to Exit 7 - Bloomsbury. Make a right at the end of the exit ramp onto Route 173 West. Go 1.3 miles and bear left onto Route 639 West, following the sign pointing towards Riegelsville. Follow Route 639 West 2.8 miles to the stop sign. Make a left at the stop sign onto Route 519 South. Continue straight – the road will turn into Route 627 South. From this point, Alba is 2 miles down on the right. 

 

From points in North Jersey: 

Take Route 287 South to Route 78 West, then follow the directions from New York above. 

 

From points in South Jersey: 

Take either the Garden State Parkway or the New Jersey Turnpike North to Route 287 North to Route 78 West, then follow the directions from New York above.

 

From the Poconos: 

Take Route 33 South to Route 22 East (toward Easton). Follow 22 East across the bridge into Phillipsburg, New Jersey, continuing for several miles. Just past the Phillipsburg Mall on the right you will come to a traffic light. Turn right at the light onto Route 519 South. Turn Left at the second traffic light onto Route 122/New Brunswick Avenue, and then turn right at the next light onto Hawk Avenue/Route 519 South. Continue straight for four miles when the road becomes Route 627 South. Continue straight two miles to Alba Vineyard on the right.

 

From Philadelphia: 

Take Route 276 (PA Turnpike) to Exit 27 - Willow Grove & Route 611. Take 611 North into Riegelsville. Turn right at the light (follow sign pointing to Business District), cross small one lane bridge over canal, then over the Riegelsville Bridge into New Jersey. Bear right at the end of the bridge, then over train tracks, and continue straight onto 627 North. We are approximately 1.5 miles up on the left. 

Or take Route 476 (the Northeast Extension) to Exit 56 - Lehigh Valley. Take Route 22 East and follow the directions from the Poconos above.

 

From Trenton area: 

Take Route 29 North. Be sure to follow signs closely in Lambertville! Stay on Route 29 until it ends in Frenchtown, which is approximately 30 minutes north of Lambertville. At the stop sign at the end of Route 29 in downtown Frenchtown, turn left, then make your first right onto Harrison Street. Continue on this road into Milford. Go straight at the traffic light in Milford and continue as the road becomes Route 519 North. Continue on Route 519 North until you reach a stop sign (about ten minutes). Make a left at the stop sign onto Route 627 South. Alba is two miles down on the right.
